Structural Engineering Manager

Engineering group of the Southeast is a firm that supports heavy industry such as pulp & paper and chemical companies in Alabama, Georgia and Florida. We provide design engineering, project management, engineering evaluations and drafting services.

We are currently searching for a Structural Engineer Supervisor who holds a current PE license to add to our growing team. This person will be responsible for the design and installation of concrete and steel structures for process equipment. Expectations for this position are:

• Lead all structural design for the company.

• Project management of engineering and construction from concept to startup.

• Estimating and budgeting engineering and construction projects.

• Repair and maintenance of facilities, such as steel and concrete rehabilitation.

• Development and implementation of inspection and evaluation programs for steel and concrete structures.

• Work very closely with clients, contractors, vendors and other engineers.

• Have excellent communications skills.

• Perform design and analysis for new and modified structures such as buildings, platforms, pipe bridges, equipment foundations, monorails, etc.

This person must have BSCE with PE and 5-15 years experience. Pay is commensurate with experience and full benefit package available. EGS is not hiring at this time.
