Services We Provide

Integrity Evaluation – EGS can Evaluate the integrity of your facility and recommend actions to correct the situation. We have expertise in tanks, pressure vessels, piping, steel, coatings, roofing and siding. Our work is based on ASME, API or other codes or standards as appropriate. We can help your facility establish integrity programs to provide long-term monitoring of your assets and we can help you evaluate specific problems.

Project Management – We will assist you in your project needs by developing scopes, obtaining quotes, developing budgets, preparing capital requests, presenting the project to management for funding and preparing purchasing documents to assist the owners. We also manage projects from design through startup.

Design – We design the installation of process equipment for heavy industry. In addition we design upgrades and repairs to existing equipment or facilities.

Construction/Startup Support – We monitor construction, develop and manage punch lists, perform equipment inspections (comparing equipment to construction drawings on arrival), perform installation quality checks, monitor safety during construction and other quality checks as deemed necessary. In addition we design and document field changes.

Drawing Services – We perform on-site management of drawing systems. We coordinate the transfer of drawings between engineers, clients, contractors and vendors. We provide drafting services and other engineering assistance.

Investigative Engineering/Forensic Engineering - We are a member firm of the Investigative Engineers Association, and through our DBA, I-Eng-A of the Tri-States, we perform investigative engineering. We investigate, document, test and secure property/evidence and provide accurate reporting for the property and casualty insurance industry.

Expert Witness – Within our areas of expertise we will provide testimony or depositions for legal proceedings.

Maintenance/Construction Support – We will inspect equipment and determine any needed repairs. EGS will also plan the required repair by determining the required replacement parts, new pieces of equipment, the manpower needed and the amount of time needed to complete the repair.

Process Engineering - EGS can provide process engineering support to analyze your system and improve performance. That support includes mass and flow balance development, sampling and testing services, database development and maintenance, and standard operating procedure development.

Environmental Health & Safety - EGS provides a full range of EHS services that include NPDES, PSD, Solid Waste and Title V permitting as well as the development and implementation of new and existing compliance programs required for your facility. The types of programs that EGS can help your company with include SPCC, Stormwater, Facility Response Plans, Site Security Plans, Construction EHS plans, and Erosion and Sedimentation control. EGS can also help your company develop and implement a comprehensive training program that will include all required annual training as well as provide services for hazardous waste management. Solid waste capabilities include methane and groundwater monitoring as well as surveying.
