TYPICAL PROJECTS

·         New Woodyard Chip Stacker/Reclaimer BMH Stacker/Reclaimer and transfer conveyors

·         New Waste Wood Handling System, truck dump, bark hog and transfer conveyors including metal detector and magnet

·         New Purchase Chip Truck Dump including conveyors and transfer points for both pine and hardwood

·         Replaced flat slanted table screens with KMW vibrating rotary screens including chute and conveyor modifications

·         Added additional structural steel to  Batch Digester Building to reduce vibration

·         NCG System for Pressure Washers (NCG collection System)

·         Installed an additional Vacuum Washer Stage including all Piping and Filtrate Tank

·         Installed new Kamyr Design Chip Bin Feed System including Screw Conveyor

·         Installed an additional Batch Digester including Chip Inlet and Discharge Piping Modifications

·         Installed Second Dryer Section Felt System including stretch mechanism & additional felt rolls

·         Replaced belt type Precoat filter with drum type filter including Vacuum Pump & Kiln in Feed System

·         Added additional Causticizer and associated Piping

·         Installed Wet Scrubber, Fan and associated Piping for Dissolving Tank Vent Stack

·         Replaced original B&W Recovery Boiler Economizer Section with 2 Section Ahlstrom Long Gas Flow Economizer. This Project was part of a “Low Odor Conversion” Project

·         Replaced complete Generating Bank # 1 Recovery boiler

·         Modified the Air System on # 2 Recovery Boiler for better liquor combustion, reduce carry over and generate more steam

·         Replace Wet Bottom with Dry bottom Precipitator on # 1 Recovery Boiler including adding several new Ash Collection Conveyors. This Project was part of a “Low Odor Conversion” Project

·         Replaced Primary and Secondary Superheater Sections

·         Managed Project to Design and Construct an Industrial Landfill including EPA and ADEM Permitting

·         Managed Project to collect and transfer landfill lechate to the Mill Waste Water Treatment Facility

·         Managed Project to install a new FKC Screw Press, flocculation Tanks and associated equipment to collect & remove Sludge from the Waste water Treatment Plant

·         Managed Project to remove Heavy Liquor Solids from a Holding Pond, remediate the site & permanently close the Pond.

·         Process Hazard Analysis on Batch Kamyr Turpentine System  - served as management of change coordinator representing the Engineering Department at the Mahrt Mill

·         Managed Project to Design and Construct new offices and Training Facility for MeadWestvaco Sawmill

·         Managed Project to Study & Install several groundwater monitoring wells around the landfill & various storage ponds
